Top 5 German Universities to study Business Administration 2016
Business administration is quite an interesting field of studying
since it provides for a broad range of job alternatives on can decide on
doing. To be studying Business Administration as an under or
postgraduate degree in the State of Germany one has to keep in mind that
its recommended to be quite skilled on the native language since the
programs in most of the Public Universities are half or entirely in
German. Of course, there are always exceptions. The perspective
international students coming to study in Germany, with the interest of
obtaining a degree in Business and Administration aim for the top German
Universities that offer the particular module.
Germany has recently revolutionized its educational system
all around the country, getting up-to-date with the newest and most
innovative teaching methods and techniques, hiring well known professors
from all around the world to teach their field of expertise. According
to Zeit Online latest rankings for the year 2015/2016,
under some certain predetermined criteria as this specific field
commonly requires stated as following, the list of the top five
Universities in Germany turned out to be mostly private Universities
offering the best program for the following academic year.
International orientation of the course(s), composition of different
facts: obligatory stays abroad/joint degree program; percentage of
international students; internationality of the scientific staff;
percentage of classes given in foreign language. A certain number of
points can be gathered from the four areas, with a maximum of 14 points
(10 for German language and literature). The top-group is reached with 6
points (4 for German language and literature), the middle group with at
least 2 points. With less than 2 points a course assigned to the bottom
group. On the faculty/department-level, the result of the best course
of the faculty/department is displayed.
Graduates rated the extent to which the development of problem solving and analytical skills was supported in the course.
Promotion of research competence is on call for teaching students how
to conduct research independently during ande after their studies.
Students assessed amongst other things the breadth of content, the
international orientation and the interdisciplinary relevance within the
teaching. In addition to this there are also subject-specific criteria
e.g. language training and the courses offered in the target language in
the areas of English Studies/American Studies and Romance Studies, the
program of field trips for history students and the quality of
methodology training for psychology students
Graduates rated overall how well prepared they felt they were for
their working lives with the qualifications they received from the
university.
The aforementioned criteria by Zeit Online are all based on the
judgments of students, alumni and professors as well as facts. The
downside of this selection is that compared to the public Universities,
private Universities in Germany charge much higher tuition fees, making
this a difficult choice to survive financially for the struggling
students. However, based on these 5 criteria presented by the Zeit
Online I came up with the list of top five Universities to study
Business Administration in Germany.
